Since choosing Granbury as his home in 2004, Tony Mobly has built a successful business by helping clients build strong financial foundations. Now, as your Mayoral Candidate, he stands ready to do the same for Granbury.
A native Texan and an Edward Jones financial advisor, Mobly has proved himself to be a man of character and commitment. He and his wife, Kathy, have been married since 1984 and are active members of Granbury United Methodist Church.
For more than two decades, Mobly has guided businesses to success through fiscal responsibility and common sense - the same qualities that he brought to the Granbury city government in 2015 by joining the city council.
He was chief financial officer for a printing company in Dallas before he and his wife chose Granbury as the place where they wanted to live, work, and raise their children.
Though Mobly has been busy building the life savings of his growing number of clients, his thriving business has not prevented him from serving on nonprofit boards for the betterment of the community.
Mobly is a Optimist Club member, a Rotarian, and former president of the Granbury Rotary Club. He has served on the Leadership Granbury board for 7 years and was the 2010 Leader of the Year. Mobly was president of the Ruth's Place board and was been instrumental in raising over $500,000 for Ruth's Place through their annual fundraising event. He is currently on the Paluxy River Children's Advocacy Center board. He serves as a mentor at Granbury Middle School. He has also been named Financial Advisor of the Year for 10 of the past 14 years by the Hood County News.
We live in the greatest community in this part of the country. Help me keep moving in a direction of high quality of life, smart growth, and fiscal responsibility.
